It's an overlay color (brown or grey) which covers green terrains so they blend better with fall or winter trees. You will no longer see bright green grass or green roads and highways or green cities. Greens will be either less saturated or become shades or browns or grey; depending on the color you choose in xml file. This is still an experimental feature so it will be in a separate folder in case you want to remove it without affecting season mod. Please read known issues.txt for bug lists.
