September 13, 20214 yr Anytime I set a .x30 frequency in the plane (A32NX, MSFS), it gets changed to .x25 in P2ATC and immediately changed in MSFS, too. I have to set it directly in P2ATC, or else I cannot listen to many ATIS. It's not gamebreaking, but a bit annoying. It works without P2ATC, so it seems to be some transfer problem? September 13, 20214 yr Commercial Member P2A supports only 25kHz spacing frequencies, so you need to use frequencies that are given in P2A to be sure you're not trying to enter and invalid frequency. Dave

Dave I would like to use the MSFS ATIS, since it's more precise to the in-game situation (esp. active runways). So I have to use those freqs available in MSFS. They should be the same, though, since I use navigraph for both. Is it possible to tell P2ATC to NOT make a .x25 out of an .x30 frequency? To, like, just accept whatever I enter in MSFS and not translate into a 25khz spacing? Edited September 13, 20214 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. September 13, 20214 yr Commercial Member No. P2A does not support the 8.33 kHz frequencies. However, you can listen to ATIS using MSFS if you like by switching to the ATIS frequency in the cockpit. Then use P2A assigned frequencies for all the controllers like Clearance, Ground, etc. Dave

I enter .x30 in the stby freq MSFS, and once I switch the standby freq to the active one, .x25 get's changed to .x30 by P2ATC. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. September 13, 20214 yr Commercial Member OK. I guess that's correct since P2A has to translate frequencies to something it can understand. If you listen to ATIS before you connect, you can use the 8.33 type frequency. Then, prepare your flight plan in P2A using the MSFS active runway. Check the option in P2A to Force Pilot Runway Selection on the FltPln tab of Config. That way, when you connect and File the plan, P2A won't change the runway or SID. Dave
