September 18, 20214 yr Since I usually use Live Weather the time and weather continue to advance when I use Esc. That's really been no issue for me. If I'm only gone for a few minutes then it's really not an issue. However, if I'm gone for hours the plane is right where I left it but the weather and time have marched on ("live" means live). So, as a previous post mentioned, I slide the time back to where I left off (I always make a note on it) and proceed. After the time reset the sun, etc. is back where I stopped, but the live weather has moved on. This sometimes bring in moving fronts with changing clouds and winds, so I may have to change my approach plans for the destination - kind of fun to work through sometimes. Randall Rocke

It does not pause the progression of time, which is what this thread is about. I've been searching for a solution to this problem and it seems that there isn't one. I find it frustrating when I'm recording a flight as a sequence of short clips (because remembering everything you want to demonstrate and operating the recording environment and flying the plane at the same time is a heavy workload) and all the pauses result in an unnaturally fast passage of time. It's especially problematic when the scene changes noticeably such as a sunrise/sunset or if the moon is in the sky. The best I can manage with the slider is 5 minute steps. This is annoying because if I need to set it back one minute I have to set it back to the nearest five and wait for it to catch up to the correct point in real time while it's still paused. October 13, 20223 yr Oh how i miss the P key like it was in FSX. You could screen shot or AFK for hours and come back to your flight and resume.
