CTDs/severe stuttering arriving into ImagineSim WSSS/SIN

Recommended Posts

I sent ImagineSim the support ticket below, though I have a feeling I'm unlikely to hear from them... does anyone have suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this?

Quote

About 40-50% of my arrivals into WSSS in V5 (5.2HF1) end with a CTD or severe stuttering that gets so bad the sim is unusable. See this video for the stuttering in action as I approach 02C https://streamable.com/d87dig. Previous to this approach I CTD'd. Luckily I always remember to save before flying into WSSS knowing it'll likely crash...

This happens with and without AI traffic. My WSSS settings are pretty tame, with PBR and SODE on and half the eye candy off. I'm on a Ryzen 5600x, RTX 3070, and 32GB RAM so specs aren't the issue. Also, I never get this kind of CTD or stuttering issue at any of the 30+ add-on airports I have. I don't get this issue if I spawn in at WSSS and depart from there. I only see this on arrival.

If it’s repeatable then consider writing a review on SimMarket if you don’t hear back from support. That should galvanise them into responding.

Unfortunately since Imaginesim only sells their add-ons direct through their website, a Simmarket review isn't possible.

There's some history with this issue...see:

I have no such problems, with this scenary and they also respond if asked for support.

Do you use other airports nearby, like another WSSS or Samscene City scenery? Make sure to not have double scenery e.g. harbor.
