March 12, 200719 yr In FSX I'm not able anymore to adjust my Eyepoint position (for example, Up or Down) in VC view with TrackIR engaged. Whereas in FS9 it is very convenient to adjust it in small increments, a little higher or little lower, depending on your current eyepoint position. I have these Eyepoint functions programmed to my throttle HAT (CH) and use it quite often when flying in FS9. Very comfortable small dimensional aid. It does not conflict with TrackIR whatsoever. whereas in FSX you cant move left or right, higher or lower with TIR as I've said. Really sorry to loose this comfortable feature with transition to FSX. Is there anything I can unlock in FSX to have it back? Thanks.
March 12, 200719 yr I agree that feature is lost in FSX and it was a useful tool. I hope that we can have it back someday soon.:( John Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics, Samsung Odyssey wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.
March 12, 200719 yr Author Is there a place I can put up my user requests for the patch? There are a few other small changes, that, combined, finally make your flying in FSX less comfortable than in FS9. I really did not expect, besides reports on performance (that has turned out quite acceptable on my system, surprise), that new features in FSX would finally deliver lack of overall comfort rather than anything new and useful.
March 13, 200719 yr Why don't you post this on the TrackIR4 forum, accesible through the 'Natural Point' website? Dave Taylor
