Question about ORBX meshes vs photogrammetry

Featured Replies

Are ORBX meshes for cities like Paris,London,Sydney better than the photogrammetry asobo provides in sim, with or without the world updates?

The Orbx Cityscapes are not photogrammetry/meshes. They add some handmodelled buildings and replace the generic or photogrammetry ones of the base sim.

Edit: I might have misunderstood your question. If you were wondering about the quality improvement overall and whether it‘s worth it (regardless of photogrammetry or not), I personally would say that yes, it’s quite an improvement and if you fly there regularly I think it‘s worth it. I have London and Sydney - two cities that I love because  I spent some time there - and I never regretted the purchase.

No idea on London and Paris

Default Sydney does not even have the Harbour Bridge.  This is Orbx Sydney ...
