JETWAYS @LTFM

Featured Replies

I Installed beautiful freeware LTFM from Turkish Vatsim forum and while everything looks good, taxiways, buildings, scenery around (including birds), I am unable to get Jetways working.Tried to look but unable to find. If anyone has idea I would appreciate advice. GSX reports "no Jetway..."

Thanks

Hi Alex,

Was it scenery named LTFMv2_2020_P3Dv4.5_202006_v3.zip from their Vatsim site?

If so , did you place the GSX .ini file in the correct location? This files contains all the definitions of the parking spots and jet bridges.

One other thing to check. In the included file, ltfm-hwlm66.ini, there appears to be a P3D path for the afcad under the [general] section that may not be correct for your sim since it references an E: drive. You may need to edit this path in the .ini file based on where the LTFM scenery .bgl is actually installed.

From memory the ini file needs to be in:-

Users\[name]\appdata\roaming\virtuali\GSX.

The ini file may need the path to the AFCAD amending. Usually \scenery\[filename.bgl] is sufficient.

It’s easy to check if it’s correctly assigned by going to the addons menu in P3D and selecting GSX Airport Customisation (from memory). In the top left position the name of the ini file will be shown. If no joy, try restarting Couatl.exe and rebuilding the indexes.

Hey guys thanks,

for some reason everything was working fine but hard to believe that I was always using Gate that doesn't have active gate, out of 100 that do! Murphy's law.... LOL. since I gave up, I fired my Sim again and parked at the different Gate and everything worked. I was curious to see what exactly happened and opened GSX editor just find out that everything is correct and Gate I was using wasn't /J. Well....😌

Thanks

Alex

Ah, that's what they call "the knack". Obviously you have it!

For the gate that isnt working you should be able to modify this in GSX.
