Anyone know what this file is used for.  Can I make changes to the file to get an add-on aircraft from showing up as ai traffic?  If so how do I do that?

That file has nothing to do with making the aircraft show up as AI. It just controls how it acts.

ai.cfg the AI of the aircraft - mean artificial intelligence, AI.

You will not believe but ai.cfg is a file where your AUTOPILOT PID controllers exist, or other words AUTOPILOT configuration. Before do anything make copy of this file!!!

[STICKANDRUDDER]

This section controls the copilot and autopilot behavior for the AI of the aircraft (mean user aircraft). Manual editing of these values is strongly suggested instead of letting the sim use the default values so that the AI behavior is more in-line with the aircraft being used. Note that the The headingPID value is also used by non-user AI to control planes.

So  how do we adjust the file, the SDK isnt exactly informatative

I want to make the AI pilot flare more and changing that number doesnt seem to do much.
