  1. So how do we adjust the file, the SDK isnt exactly informatative I want to make the AI pilot flare more and changing that number doesnt seem to do much.
  2. Planes will require tweaking in MSFS2020. I emailed the developer and he isnt really updating it anymore, so what you get is what you see. Unfortunately for MSFS2020 that means not every plane will function properly with FSXpilot. In FSX it works very well. But I always used to land the plane myself usually. It works quite well with GA aircraft which is probably why you had success. But ya the landings in MSFS2020 arent very good. they are much better in FSX. Tweaking how the aircraft works may help. Im kind of bummed because MSFS2020 is listed as being supported by FSX Pilot and technically it really isnt. Its a try and see type of deal. Nothing was really tested like it used to be. It was just put there for everyone else to mess with I guess. It worked great with the C208 I flew around my area here in Orlando and found my house and some other areas with the scenery which is clearly old because the aprtment building I used to live in 3 years ago wasnt even built yet, just part of it. And its been there for like 7+ years. But it was still a cool flight. Then I set up the GPS autoland to Sanford airport and it bounced off the runway with a hard landing. I dont believe the ILS landings work at all in MSFS for FSX pilot.. that would solve some of the landing issues. So its a word not allowed shoot either way. Landing with ILS should and an Airbus should technically autoland for you, its just messing around with that FMS for an hour before you fly is the pain in the butt.
  3. I just tried to let the AI fly the Airbus 320 and it crashed into a mountain after missing the approach, So clearly the AI flying for MSFS 2020 is really pointless. At least with FSXpilot we have some control over things, but even that has to be tweaked. I am going to reach out to the developer and see what he says regarding the issues I have discovered. But I would still try it especially on the default aircraft and see how it works for you.
  4. FSXPilot is an autopilot for Flight Sims. Its been around forever. I will say it has some issues with MSFS with certain planes. The landings are a bit rough. However in FSX it worked really well. You can set up an entire flight plan and the program will take over. It will not taxi perfectly to the runway for you, you must do that unless you want it going over grass. But once you select Run Flightplan It will take off and do the flightplan you entered even the SID and STARs.. However, one must monitor the landing and speeds depending on the plane. I used it last night in MSFS 2020 on the default Airbus 320neo and it worked ok. The landing wasnt very good. Taking over manually was needed. I think it has something to do with MSFS having control of the flight controls if you do something weird. The settings in MSFS that control the AI copilot for example, setting the trim and other things need to be shut off in order to use FSXPilot effectively with MSFS. Since I just got MSFS2020 I cant tell you it works flawlessly with every plane. In fact, I know that the landing for the PMDG 737 was absolute chaos. The approach was terrible. You can basically use a GPS autoland to autoland at any airport in the sim as well which is why I originally got it. Because I got sick of FSX's GPS and just wanted more of an easy FMC to control the plane. It works great for that. Its free, you can try it and test it out. As far as something that will take you from gate to gate without you doing anything at all? Not sure its possible. Although I have seen videos on youtube with guys doing it with the Airbus A320 all run by the AI in MSFS. Also Ive seen one with Xplane 12. I havent tried either yet. I planned on trying a short flight today to see if the AI would take off and land and fly the entire flight plan without my assistance. I am debating whether or not I should buy Xplane 12 because its on sale now for $40 and the price is going up to $80 in January. Im not sure I like MSFS that much. The scenery is great, but some of the planes leave something to be desired. http://www.fsxpilot.com/index.php
  5. There is a program that will fly the plane for you. FSXPilot. Or FSPilot. Its been around for a long time. I know the developer. It still requires you to do a few things, but mostly it will follow a flightplan and take off and land the plane for you. But you should monitor it for landing speed etc.
  6. The issue with the complex ATC voice commands could be that windows voice recognition does not do very well with long complex sentences. The shorter the better for the voice recog. One thing that could fix the issue is if the ATC does not understand they could say something or allow a manual TEXT entry to reply to ATC so that you can get the flight moving along. It took me quite some time just go get to take off even though Ive used ATC before on Vatsim and on Vox2ATC, PilotEdge etc. While there are set ATC statements sometimes ATC can be a bit open with how you speak especially at smaller airports. So perhaps a text option would improve the misunderstanding of the program via windows speech recognition which in itself is nice, but not a very good program in my opinion for recognizing speech Cheers on the great program.
  7. Where can I get this "Hot FIx" I am looking on my downloads page and I do not see it!?
  8. Just dont patch to 2.2 it seems. I patched to it tonight. And bang no more flight plans. How nice. I hope they fix it soon... perhaps they should hire someone to test their patches before they release them?
  9. I am actually trying to tweak P3D now. I get like 12FPS for some odd reason. FSX, no problems at all. So i will have to check out Word Not Allowed's recommendations I guess.
  10. I have the same problem, so if anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it
