  1. Thank you sir. I was under the mistaken assumption Navigraph and Simbrief were not related.
  2. I spent about half an hour trying to get it to read my simbrief flight plan using the new EFB and then gave up. Any ideas where on earth I go to log in?
  3. This guy has released a legit product called SimPassengers that does what it says. I've bought it, have been using it, and getting rapid support. He even reached out to me to say I was running the wrong version which is pretty amazing. I'm not using said product simply because I have sayintentions giving me cabin crew vibes and for no other reason at all, not that I was upset with the product. Perhaps he can pause this thread, or lock it, and quell any of the negativity with some actual meat on the bones of a product in working order. People want something to see or try out. I would pay a subscription, but only if it was very good. Every time I see a SI plane disappearing or smashing into the runway, I think about giving them my $20 a month. It does always get my from start to finish in a far more authentic and better way than BATC does. I get reroutings for traffic, different speeds, get put in holds and all sorts. It's just about passing the test. The thing with subscriptions is, we can always say no, and stop them, if the product stops being worth the money.
  4. If you can make the landing gear visible (I know this isn't ATC's problem) and not have planes slam into the runway and disappear in 2026 for less than $20 a month, I'm interested.
  5. Oh, so ME is still a big gamechanger in 2020 but not 2024? Can you still get good results using the Bing option in ME with 2020? Might tempt me into a reinstall.
  6. I landed at Bari (LIBD) on SayIntentions today, I think the airport is taxituned. And yet arriving aircraft just disappeared as soon as they contacted the runway. I generally like SI, but this has happened a couple of times. Although Bari is not a major airport, it's still got a fair bit of stuff going on. What could be the problem here?
  7. It's definitely been a retrograde step and a sim we didn't really need. I'm pot committed to 2024 now, and I generally like it, but it's like we've added better lighting and taken away the terrain quality. I don't see it as a massive progression.
  8. Any visuals from Asobo are heavily "marketed", while not fake, you always see their arty screenshots focusing in on some high fidelity engine cowling or a random piece of scenery with a massive depth of field. The fact of the matter is terrain resolution has been nerfed and there is nothing we can do about it. It's still passable and the best of what we have, but a definite degredation. If you sit at Malpensa and look north, northwest, the Alps in the distance just look like a white blob. Also consider that Mount Rushmore is going to be far more high fidelity, than some random mountain in Croatia. Bing imagery plays a huge role, as does their decision to lower resolution to improve the load on their servers. I use Atmos to give a bit of haze, that looks natural anyway, and it means I can't actually see the distant ugliness. Some stuff close to the ground doesn't look that sharp either. Highly annoying given how during the MSFS 2020 heydey, we know how sharp this terrain can be. Running in 4K with a couple of ReShade sharpening shaders helps too.
  9. I fired it up now, my distant mountains at Malpensa still looked like mushy slop, and everything streamed in slowly, replacing previous tiles as I flew, even though I have fast internet.. Bijan's mod also stopped working. Going to uninstall and give it a wide berth. Doesn't seem to help with the resolution degredation.
  10. I'd think since the nerfing of the terrain textures a good few months ago in the main sim, it means the app no longer has much benefit, and it forces the app to nerf its own texture. I now stay zoomed out, don't use passenger views, and have Rex Atmos going so the horrible blurry mush mountains don't bother me during my flying. I hate what they've done to the sim compared with the clarity we had in 2020 (which now AFAIK has also been nerfed). There also seems to be a big difference when it comes to different parts of the globe (South Africa looked rubbish yesterday, the UK is sharper) I tried the app a month or two ago and I didn't see much improvement. Any others who've used it?
  11. I'm assuming that if you're tracking an AI aircraft it eventually despawns, right? I wouldn't be able to track an AI flight from start to finish in the background while I work. Or am I wrong with that assumption?
  12. I use TAA at 4K on a 5080 locked at 30FPS and a little bit of reshade sharpening. Is there any real benefit to getting this??
  13. Well that is customer service and taking feedback on board!
  14. @anilcougar So I purchased this tonight and enjoyed myself. I recently got rid of SayIntentions so it was nice to have some cabin crew back. A couple of bits of feedback 1. I am not sure if the boarding autocompletes or not. The 120/120 pax were boarded and I clicked, complete boarding. Maybe this speeds it up. Anyway nothing really happened until pushback, which is fine, and I guess I didn't need to click this at all. 2. My flight callsign was RYR (Ryanair), and it was spoken "RYR Airlines". Callsigns really need to be matched with all major airlines in future. RYR is necessary to get BATC to assign me the correct gates. 3. I was told "cabin crew seats for takeoff" at the end of my pushback. It should be at the holding point when landing lights are turned on. 4. As soon as I rotated, which was very controlled on an almost still day, cabin crew warned of severe turbulence and told pax to put on seatbelts. It was a completely normal departure at about 200 FT AGL, so that was a bit immersion breaking. I scored 113.4 at the end of the flight and there were no complaints about breaking vertical speed or bank angle. 5. Would it be possible to have different audio levels depending on where our camera view is? I want cabin crew to be very quiet when I'm in the cockpit, loud when I'm in the cabin, and silent when in external view. 6. A RYR flight would not have in flight entertainment, meals etc. Well I guess it would but it would be a paid for catering cart. 7. There seemed to be no deboarding. On engine shutdown just an "end of flight" I enjoyed it though. The voices were a little bit robotic, not too bad though. I liked the touch about enjoying Polish food and giving accurate weather when I landed and taxiid to the gate (something SI could NEVER do). It's a straightforward and decent product. A good start.
  15. I think it has a lot to do with all the third party airports and decoding all the data they provide. After taking off from Asobo Madrid instead of the payware Madrid, I didn't have this problem. I'm having a lot of fun with BATC. It is really getting me where I want to go to, in busy skies, without much problem. I guess it is a bit "on rails", but I'd prefer that whilst being predictable. I hope they can kick on with VFR traffic and stuff.
