October 8, 20214 yr Depending on the altitude I'm flying there is a certain frosted or grainy appearance as if there is too much reflection off of dense tree tops etc. I think this began maybe in SU5 but I'm not sure. I don't think it was there early on. Anyway, not sure what's doing this but it's not optimal for sure. Down low or when taxiing it is not there at all. If you're aware of this and have found ways to reduce or eliminate please share. October 8, 20214 yr I see what you mean, looks grainy. It did start with SU5. I've tried turning off Sharpen in the UserCfg.opt file, but it became far too blurry and I lost a lot of detail. Recently I've tried Res Scaling 130 which increased sharpness by a lot, but I haven't tried that in combination with setting Sharpen to 0. I did the same and use the adaptive sharpen filter per nvidia Alt-f3. There is a slider to balance the effect. Works nice for me !
