October 8, 20214 yr So.... I was on the built-in flight planner, zooming in to get a closer look at an airport so I could choose a parking spot to start from, when I noticed an AI plane moving across the map, and clicked on it on a whim. I was then given the choice of choosing that plane as a Departure or Arrival point. Hmmmmm? So I clicked Departure, and the planner instantly filled with the AI planes flight plan, (it was heading to Boston) which I could now follow by clicking "fly" as usual. Clicking "Fly" I was deposited on the runway of the planes departure point, ready for takeoff just as if I had created a new plan. Did anyone else know you could do that? We are all connected..... October 8, 20214 yr @HiFlyer That's been a feature for a long time, if not from the very beginning. However, I did stumble across is at the time, just as you did, so it's not a highly-touted feature. Yup, if I thought it was new for SU6 or something, I wouldn't have reported it. 🙃 But, since there really isn't a MSFS manual or instruction book out there (that I know of) one has to wonder how many similar (mostly or completely) unknown features are out there, littered throughout the innards of the sim.
