Yes - Uninstall REX3 and use REX4 with Pilots Global WX engine . John

You can use any WX engine in REX4 - ( Opus - ASNext - Pilots Global - AS2012 - REX3 ) . John

With the sale on AUSP04 at FSS and installing Holgar mesh from the Orbx site . Oz would look quite a bit better than just having global textures . Plus add on all of the OZx and Ant's freeware airports and you could spend a lifetime just flying in Oz . John

One other option is AS2012 by HiFi simulation's . It is very easy to use , plus you can change the color of both inland and ocean water . John

For me the best results in Orbx world has been FSGenesis for the mesh and UTX for the vector info .

Here was a review that was done on FSGRW : http://mutleyshangar.com/reviews/np/fsgrw/fsgrw.htm I have had great results with this program .

Orbx came out with a patch for FTXG on 9-5 . Version 1.10 , that fixed for me the issue of the black boxes .

I had to roll back my version Catalyst Control Center - revision 13.9 . I was getting severe tearing and then the black screen of death . I am back to using revision 13. 4 with no issues . I did a fresh install of FSX and have not yet tried DX10 or Steve's Fix yet .

I have used Orbx for about a year now with no issues at all . FTXG is their newer product which came out over the summer . It replaces FSX default textures with Orbx textures on a global basis . Just this week they released a free demo of the entire country of Iceland . I just DL the new version #19 from my account at FSS . Install went fine , but now when I try to install libraries it is asking for my email and key # ? . During the install the wrapper already got my order info . Any help would be appreciated . John

That is a must to have in your FSX cfg. I have used it for several years without any issue's .

Thanks Matt for your settings , I should have clarified that my trouble was with my Gateway rig with the ATI card . On my older HP and Nvidia card Steve's DX10 fix works fine . I will use your settings to put SweetFX on my HP . Thanks again for your help . John

I just ran the latest driver and the new Inspector without any issues .

Even using Steve's DX10 fixer , I had AA issues (Jaggies) , so goodbye SweetFX for now .

I have used them without any issues . I have only DL aircraft , not any scenery .
