I've encountered a problem and not sure if its only me.   I have tips turned off in the menu, but they still show (e.g release parking brakes, then info regarding CRJ and chocks etc).  I do have the software tips option in MSFS turned on as I need it for Vatsim, but would have thought the tips, if not ticked, would not show?

They shouldn't show.  I'll check it.  Maybe something changed in a MSFS update.

Hey Nickb,

There are two options on settings/config window: "Show Tooltips" and "Show Usage Tips", now here is my question:; Which of those are unchecked?, both or just one of them?. The one that you want, is "Show Usage Tips", that's the option that actually controls when a message tip is shown in-sim or not. The other one "Show Tooltips" is for the buttons in our application.

Ok so this is what I have (sorry for the delay)

I only have one option in PBE

General   show tool tips   is unticked

 

but a box still appears in the sim    saying TIPS  Pushback Express - release the parking brakes         and others

We made some radical changes to the joystick / keyboard detection.

It's way better now... more like MSFS style.

Okay, we see the issue with the tool tips.

It'll be resolved in the next beta public update.

On my system, I never see tool tips.

There must be an MSFS option to control them.

Its the software tips, which I need to have on for Vpilot, I can set notifications for this to on in Vpilot to show communications on screen, but have to turn this on on the Assistance page for it to show.  I was thinking that in PBE it would not show if turned off inside PBE
