Hi all

The last few months I have noticed I can no longer switch the AP on via the ap panel switch in the c172 classic, it just flickers roll and won't engage. the only way I can get it to function is to press ctrl A keys then it's comes on but it arms all modes initially until you deselect them. In the past I was just able to enable via the ap switch in the cockpit. Not the end of the world but would like to know what changed

Perhaps (if not already done) to check your bindings to ensure you don't have double switches somewhere.

Do you have the Shift-Z mod installed ?

If so that's currently causing problems with the AP in SU6 and it's best to remove it till an updated version is available.

I just flew that plane yesterday and the Auto Pilot on off rocker switch worked properly.
