October 27, 20214 yr I ran across a thread in this forum where someone developed a PTT utility that I assume uses FSUIPC across a network. The article mentioned it was available on XPlane.org file library. I assume that since it uses FSUIPC, that it is also compatible with FSX-SE?? Or is there a version especially for FSX-SE? If so, can you please provide a link, if the version of the PTT utility is different from the version on the XPlane.org file library. Much appreciated!
October 28, 20214 yr Commercial Member X-Plane uses XPUIPC, which is similar in function to the unlicensed version of FSUIPC for reading data references. The utility you saw for X-Plane will not work with FSX, P3D, or MSFS. It is only for X-Plane. The licensed version of FSUIPC combined with WideFS is what you would use to network to FSX. There is a sample setup in the User's Manual for Networking with FSX/P3D using FSUIPC. Dave
