It's really no big deal to delete the cfg, and set up P3d again in its settings. I kind of like it, and I get to review how my settings are SET! I am a firm believer that it really helps P3d run much better. I believe things just keep building up and building up in the cfg., and a good clean up (start with a new cfg) is necessary. I know many may disagree with me, but that's OK. I know what works for me. I also open Lorby's ADDON ORGANIZER every day, and go to TOOLS, and delete my shaders there with one click. I love the way P3d works every day when I do this. Then I run Season Manager to make sure I have the snow where it should be that day. Finally, I restart my computer and start to fly. The deletion of the CFG only happens, as I said, when I get unusual pauses or questionable performance in P3d OR when I update my graphic driver. Stan

Client ripped out, deleted everyyy temp file I could find, and this behavior is completely gone. SwapChainUseWaitableObject=0 did not have any effect, positive or negative, for me. AffinityMask didn't solve it, I did clear out the P3D.cfg file as well but I couldn't find anything in there that could have caused such a drastic performance hit. Not only that, the sim is performing better than it did before this issue showed up. I can't emphasize enough how helpful it is sometimes to reset and delete shaders, especially for those of us with heavily modded sims. Now I can finally fly again 🙂 Can you just delete this folder, and would the sim rebuild it on next run?
