Suggestions for Distance Mode

  • Allow plan sequencing. That is, don't automatically stop pushback at the end of the initial planned route so as to allow further pushback planning. Sometimes this is needed to make "S" routes. And it would also allow to fix a plan which went wrong.
  • Allow pushback hold function with the possibility to change the plan or override it manually with button controls.
  • In addition to verbal description of turn directions in config menu ("Turn Right", "Turn Left"), I suggest adding these symbols to make the turn direction clearer: ↩↪

The reason is that I don't want to drive the tug during pushback and switch the view out of the cockpit when starting the engines.

I am aware of the other modes but I am not interested in them. I have purchased PSE only for the distance mode.

We're thinking about ideas to improve to "Distance Mode".

However, we're currently very constrained by the limits of SimConnect and what we can do inside MSFS, especially given that airplanes and scenery in the Marketplace are encrypted.  A lot of required data simply cannot be read out of the sim.

But we're trying!
