Soft Mute and Hard Mute

how can I define hard and soft mute? Is it possible to link soft mute to a joystickbutton?

You can do that on the Settings Panel.

Ensure you're using the latest v1.1 settings panel:

I wasn´t aware of a public beta ....

I think I´ve got a wrong understanding of what the soft mute is doing. I expexted soft mute to mute the micro as long as I push the button but it seems to mute only for 3 seconds or so!? Is that right?

Hi Holger,

Please use the public beta.

Long story short, previously due to a problem with Simconnect we couldn't read when the joystick button was "released".

That's why we had to use a timer.

However, we're now using Direct X, which solves this issue. Next public beta is using DirectX.  It's much better.  It's like walkie talkie button.
