Very often I get this silly ... descent to one thousand feet... on initial approach, any way it can be fixed. Unless there is some settings I have set wrong.

In addition would it be possible to somehow show the text in for of numbers and single letters preferably capital letter when taxi instructions are issued? 

Instead "Climb to flight level three zero zero" just have it write "Climb to flight level 300" same for taxi instead of it saying taxi via alpha bravo etc... just have it simply use caps and "Taxi via A, B, B2, J hold short of runway 22L" would make it all so much more pleasant to read and interact with.

does no one else get this? I get it pretty much every flight. kind of big deal i think , it would be nice to follow ATC instructions on initial descent that make sense not down to 1000ft every time. which leaves me to just use my flight plan and ignore ATC altogether.

Yes, I get that as well, usually when cleared for a STAR.

I'll get it fixed for the next update.

The numbers/letters instead of spelled out speech is on the longer range list of enhancements as it is a major change to the way the program works.
