From 60 FPS at start of flight to 1 FPS a half-hour later

Featured Replies

Win10/SU6: I start a flight at 60 FPS. About 30 min later in flight, FPS drops to 1 FPS for about 30 sec, then recovers back to 60 fps. Anyone else see this? Thanks.

Happened to me a few times, except that it never recovered and stayed at 1 fps.  🙄

Interesting. Fortunately in my case the FPS has always recovered (so far) back to 60 FPS. I haven't had it stay at 1 FPS.

If it's a run away program, some sort of loop, then cpu temps and/or gpu temps will be rising with the decreasing fps. If the temp increase isn't also happening, then it rules out something running away with itself and stealing performance.
