November 6, 20214 yr Hi, I just noticed sim is not generating low level clouds correctly either using ASP3D or manual setting weather. It looks like it is generated but higher then shown in metar. I did a flight while I had metar with BKN003 (Broken 300’) ,ended up breaking the clouds at 2000’. Then I went the an airport with OVC008 (overcast 800’) and again clouds are generated much higher +1500’ +2000’ then the meter itself. I thought it was ActiveSky issue but then loaded sim and entered a manual clouds layer just to get same results. Anyone encountered similar issue ? Any ideas ?
November 6, 20214 yr For me it seems the cloud layer rises while climbing to higher altitudes. Edited November 6, 20214 yr by mobiel
