November 7, 20214 yr First I can’t take credit for finding this spot, also I flew this in the caravan as an fyi, but if anyone is looking for good fun and a little challenge, take off from LFCB, head due west to LFIP (airport known for the shooting of the movie James Bond tommorow never dies) and land on runway 09, it’s quite challenging, keep enough power to make it up hill where you can enjoy all the log cabins/structures up on the tarmac. It’s a short flight, 10 minutes perhaps. Once you’ve completed that take off again and head north west, you can see the highest peak off in the distance, very easy to spot, fly towards it at about 9800’ and you’ll be greeted with a really cool observatory which is about 9400’. I found this by following a suggested flight plan from a certain website and would have never known about this spot…Which now makes me wonder how many cool spots like this am I missing in this sim that I’ll never get to see simply by being unknown! Have fun! November 7, 20214 yr Nice find thank you! You could upload/share flight plan here: https://worldtour.flights/ Or.. is that where you obtained the suggested flight plan from? Edited November 7, 20214 yr by KERNEL32
November 7, 20214 yr This is a community flight I put together a few weeks ago. It will take you past 2 observatories, and the Matterhorn. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v0QuckZK3c9TYlsTuOUlY65X_leCT7Sn/view?usp=sharing IF you have Henricks shipping mod, look out for the Paddle Steamers on Lac Lucerne. Also recommended is Project Lifts:Europe. It adds all the ski lifts and cable cars in EU. https://flightsim.to/file/14840/project-litfts-europe The scenery is BEAUTIFUL. Breathtaking glaciers. The landings will be challenging, expect to land on many, many, dams. Caravan or Porter recommended for their combo of stol performance and high alt perf.

All credits go to the founder of that plan…I’ve been using this site a while and that’s my favourite one I found so far so thought I’d share! The complete flight actually departs toulouse which I would recommended the whole flight if you have time, it’s fun with the valley runs and scenery which kinda makes me jealous that people get yo live in these amazing spots, complete flight is under an hour. Thanks..I’ll be sure to try this one, After my above flight I’m now in a flight sim phase of trying to find some cool stuff (scenery) within the sim instead of strictly flying from point A to B Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
