With SU 5 and 6, Pilot A.I. is borked...

Featured Replies

since either of those two,  the Pilot A.I. can't seem to land the plane anymore.  Fine for taxi and take off,  but on a GPS routed final,  the  A.I. routine can't seem to find or lock onto the glide path, and most of my attempts to have the A.I. pilot do Final Approach and land on the open runway,  ends with a decent well short of the Threshold, and plowing into the ground.  Before SU 5, the A.I. (most times) could get to Final, and land at the Destination Airport.   Sort of a bummer at present for me, because some flights, like when I am taking dinner before the monitor, I like to be a passenger and just enjoy MSFS's real life world and eye candy.   But...since those two last updates, thatk's a one way ticket to the 'farm'....   At least...I had one last good meal...      I hope they fix the A.I. routines to once more have the A.I. better handle a flight from taxi to taxi...

You could always watch a Youtube video of a MSFS 2020 flight. 😉

LOL...I guess, until it gets fixed...and the A.I. pilot learns to land just beyond the threshold, and not 3 miles in front of it.....!!!!  LOL.

It’s been borked since the start. AI pilots are suicidal.
