November 12, 20214 yr Hi, has anyone ever seen this problem in fog conditions, nice visuals at low speed but around 40 kts this weird line/layer appears and distorts the forward view. See comparison shot between <40kts and >40kts. November 12, 20214 yr Commercial Member (Edit: disregard, screenshots load for me now) Yes, I always have a low altitude, very sharp and noticeable horizon haze/fog line at low altitudes and slower speeds but not as low visibility as you. Only until I climb above maybe 2000-3000’ it starts to disappear. The moment I close ActiveSky it resolves itself. One of the most annoying things in my P3D that I have not been able to figure out how to resolve. November 15, 20214 yr Author Thanks all, I wasn't 100% sure it was an ASP3D issue and I'm on latest build but will raise a ticket anyway.
November 15, 20214 yr Might not be, but that may eliminate one possibility. November 17, 20214 yr Author 16 hours ago, CaptKornDog said: Let us know what they say. Dave at HiFi got me to update FSUIPC6 to latest build (mine was slightly out of date) and also got me in the latest Beta ASP3D build 7922 and revert to default settings and that seems to have solved it. The only issue is I don’t know which of the three changes fixed it as I was in a rush and just did everything! https://www.dropbox.com/s/t75y4beztehci75/Prepar3D Screenshot 2021.11.17 - 09.27.09.86.png?dl=1
