First freeze in MSFS during normal flight

HI all,

 

SO, after a lot of VFR flying in MSFS, I wanted to do a " long haul". Took my FBW a320 from Nigeria to AMS during a workday. Take off, all smooth, some bumpy air above the Sahara, I continued working.

Checked back, airborne time was around 3 hours..and it stopped responding. It stopped. Any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

The same happened to me two hours ago!

During a short flight and... all of a sudden MSFS froze!

It wasn't a CTD.

?

Could be anything Victor.  I'd start by NOT troubleshooting any more than trying to repeat it w/ another long flight sometime and see if there is really something persistent worth troubleshooting.

I had this happen late last week during a flight. Could not get into the menus to change settings.  Nothing!  I toggle to and took a look in task manager and saw a big hit from MSFS but it still appeared to be running.  I toggled back into MSFS and just waited.  After a while it just resumed.  No clue.  No lost connection messages.  Oddly it ran fine after that one instance.

Another SU7 bug. When you are in freelook mode (but sometimes even in normal cockpit view) you can't change view otherwise it freezes without CTD:

This was before SU7, but thanks for thinking of it! 🙂

It never happened to me before SU7. However unbinding "next pilot position" is a workaround.
