November 19, 20214 yr HI everyone, Its been a while since I have posted on here, I'm just getting back into flying again. I have just updated my dash to the latest version and also to the latest version of MCE. What I am finding is when I am using flows and my CO us working on different panels the view in the sim (P3Dv4.5) changes to that panel, so if I am looking at the centre pedestal and he does the fire test the view jumps to the overhead panel, after a while this causes the sim to crash as I am fighting with him to control the views. IS this normal or can I turn that function off so he does his stuff without the views changing? Regards Rob

If you mean panel pop-up. yes, with this plane, some items need to be clicked by automatically popping panel clicking and then hiding. You do not need to have the panels cover the entire screen though (hence perception of view change). You could minimize the 2D pop-ups to very small areas ( 5 cm x 5 cm or even less) and position them anywhere you like. Currently not possible to disable those clicks, but if you have the need for it, could remove them, but you'll have to handle things like fie test manually. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
November 22, 20214 yr Author Thanks for ths reply. Indeed your correct it is the 2D panels opening and closing. The worst one is the 2D panel for the nav and heading buttons that one drives me nuts. How do I resize them they open and before I have time to do anything there gone again. Might be a dumb question but I have always used the VC and never used 2D panels Rob

December 9, 20214 yr OK Here is a strange one from December 2021. SimBrief flight plans wont load into Mjc Dash 8? OK so what has changed? I cant get any Sim Brief plans to load. The Mjc Dash 8 + CDU wont work? Anyone know why? EDIT..Know what? SimBrief and Mjc Dash 8 didnt talk to each other? Result? It doesnt work anymore? SimBrief was loading flight plan into wrong folder. All is still not well with the Mjc dash 8... Unfortunately, Mjc Control panel doesnt alter anything in the sim? I can not select the tiller to ailerons anymore? Seems like they have abandoned this project! The Control Panel no longer interacts with the simulator? Like so many devs thay are missing now. No more updates? Where have they gone? Apart from MCE which remain faithful to the pilots (note...PILOTS) who remain loyal to them! It was the very best turbo prop going in any sim! Now its fallen by the wayside! I was going to do a movie with MCE and P2ATC, but Mjc Dash 8 is a bit wonky now! Almost as bad as MSFS! Where are we going with this genre?
