Aircraft Plans for 3d Modelling

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I’ve been working on the G36 Improvement Project for a while and I’ve started to wonder about having a go at building a complete aircraft.

I have an aircraft (but not set on it yet) in mind but wondered whether anyone in the community knew of anywhere that sold plan views that we can use when building the plane in Blender? Side, Top, Front etc.

I’m looking for a GA aircraft, something that is not too ambitious. I like the look of the Piper Meridian M500 as this could sit nicely alongside the hanger with the TBM but it might be a little complicated as a first project. Do any of you know where I can source good plan views for aircraft?

Many thanks

Matt

Take a look at the Epic and Evolution if you like the SETP idea. Epic Aircraft might even assist you with this to promote their recent certification....

If you stick with the Meridian take a look at the M600 or Jet Prop versions.

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
