December 3, 20214 yr I bought the Hawk last night. I want to ask about takeoff trim! Taking of was like lifting a brick of the ground, it was so nose heavy. I went round and landed and was trimming to land ofc. Left Trim as it was when I landed. Then did another takeoff with the trim left as I landed and it was butter smooth takeoff. I have just watch 3 vids and read the manual again and see nothing about setting takeoff trim. I cannot even see a trim gauge for trimming only rudder and Aileron. Enlighten me please! David Murden. December 3, 20214 yr They call it tail plane position indicator. If you look at the manual on page 88. It’s item #9 next to the turn and slip indicator.
