December 11, 20214 yr I am aware that many Milviz planes come with REX WX Advantage Radar. I am wondering, since the radar gauge is no longer sold if it would be possible to use one included in a Milviz plane on the FSW Lear 35 which I just bought. I use p3d v4.5. Thanks

Even though WX is now out of production? On the Milviz website it used to state that they are product locked. It doesn't now. It merely says will not work with P3D V5 EA. I like the Milviz aircraft. If it can't be done at least I would have a nice twin.
April 5, 20224 yr There was a standalone version that could be employed in any P3D aircraft, and also locked versions of the radar gauge that shipped with and were coded to only work with a specific product. Neither of those versions of the radar works with any version of P3D from v5.2 onward, and neither version ever worked with EA.
