December 13, 20214 yr Hi everyone, I have decided to pull the trigger on getting a yoko+. I live in the US and am wondering if anyone has reccomendations for which site i should buy it from. Aerosoft is $1200 with shipping Virtualfly is $1273 with shipping Jetline Systems is $1340 with shipping Xforce PC is $1430 with shipping In addition do i have to pay any import duties if I buy it from europe? Thanks for the advice
December 13, 20214 yr I live in Canada and got one last year. Getting it from VirtualFly was the only option back then, and I actually recommend getting it from them directly since they are the manufacturer. Everything went very smooth and FedEx delivered it within about a week. I had to pay (Canadian) import taxes on top of the listed price, of course. Keep an eye on sales. I got the Yoko+ with a 15% discount and I have seen the same sale 1-2 months ago. If it is currently at full price, wait until we are closer to Xmas. As far as quality goes: brilliant. I always struggled to hit the centerline with my old Saitek Yoke, but not anymore. Plus, customer support is fantastic. After the desk on which my yoke is mounted had a problem, a tiny magnet in my TQ6 loosened and one of the levers didn't work properly anymore. I contacted them and they prepared a detailed instructional movie how I could glue the magnet back into place. Worked like a charm 🙂 Peter
December 14, 20214 yr Author Thanks for the suggestion. I am very much looking forward to having a good yoke. Has anyone in the US bought it from europe and remember how much the tax was? I bought crosswinds this year and did not have to pay any tax, but those where 1/3 of the price.
December 14, 20214 yr I got mine from VF and had no issues paid about 55$ freight and no tax only took 3 days to get thru FEDX CPU: Intel i9-11900K @5.2 / RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200 / GPU: 4080 16GB /
December 14, 20214 yr Author Glad to hear there is no tax. Currently though VF says the shipping estimate will be $155 which I think is a bit much

December 15, 20214 yr I bought mine from VF directly, no import fees coming to the US... It was here is ~3days after ordering as well... That was just a few weeks ago and I did get the 15% off sale. Not to mention getting a personal email from the team offering to help if I ran into issues before the yoke even arose, I'd highly recommend going through them directly. It's also been simple plug and play in every sim. Requires a lot more force than I am used to but it is incredibly smooth. Coming from Force Feedback it's not the same but probably as good a feel as you will get without FFB. I'm adding a buttkicker to try and bring back some of that "feel" Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
December 15, 20214 yr Author Thanks for the advice. Hopefully it goes on sale soon. Have you got the buttkicker yet? I have always been interested in it as it seems to be a relatively inexpensive way to add more feeling to the sim.

I use it on my race sim where it is very effective so hoping it will add some immersion to FS as well! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
