AdaptiveSimGroupEnable

Featured Replies

I have a question.
If I have set the function AdaptiveSimGroupEnable = True in P3D 5.3

My SIM usually crashes while flying.

If I set AdaptiveSimGroupEnable = False it works.
Is this function important or can it be left off

In Version 5.2 HF1 it work perfect for me

Thanks

Frank

I believe it was a kind of fix for older versions of P3D, not valid anymore

@Beardyman

Thanks for your  help.

At this time it works with =FALSE

I hope to have no problems with 5.3 when it is =FALSE and the sim need something of this funktion.

I found nothing about this funktion

Looking around the web for this function I found: "V5.1 added a new feature called „Adaptive Simulation Group“, mainly intended to reduce visual jittering when flying in close formation with other traffic (multiplayer or AI)."

There were problems with this function and SODE in 5.1 where the workaround was to set this to false. Fixed in later releases. See https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?topic=p3d-v5-1-and-sode-1-7-1 and scroll down to post 4992.
