December 25, 20214 yr I have updated to P3d v5.3 HF1+. I use Onlineflightplanner.org to make my flightplans. When I try to load a pln flightplan using the Flightplanner in the sim, it hangs and crashes P3d. Does anyone have the same experience, and is it a bug or a way to solve it? Tor Arild Danielsen
December 25, 20214 yr Do you use IVAO Altitude? It leads in my system to crashes when interacting with GSX and Active Sky, perhaps also with Onlineflightplanner? Jürgen Martens, DK7HN
December 30, 20214 yr Author I have now ,after days of testing, seen that the sim does not crash when I load a pln flightplan. When I press ok the screen get more white and it takes more than 5 min before the message « If i want to move ….» comes up. Before the update it came up almost immediately. I have also got a problem with the rudder pedals in the PMDG 737 NGXu. I can move the pedals 5-6 times, and then they center and is impossible to move again. In the default and other add on aircrafts, rudder seems to be ok. I wander now if the only way to try to solve this is to reinstall the whole sim. Tor Arild
December 30, 20214 yr Moderator @adaniel, I've just tried generating a plan from LSZH to EGCC and it worked fine. In the Departure and Destination section make sure you click on the Aircraft dropdown and select Boeing 737-800 (iFly/PMDG). If you're already doing that then I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. On the Info tab right-click the .rte entry and choose Save Link as... Then point it to the PMDG\Flightplans\NGXu folder. Regarding your rudder pedals they'll only work correctly when hydraulic power is running which means the engines have to be running. Same applies to the ailerons. Ray (Cheshire, England). December 30, 20214 yr Author I have now tested the rudder again, and you are right. I had a serious hydraulic failure in the 737 800 NGXu model. If I had used the checklists I would have seen it, but I was able to start the engines, and only got problems when I was going to turn during taxing. Thank you for your advice. Tor Arild
