The main benefit of a turbo is that it allows the engine to keep developing sea level power at higher altitudes where true airspeed (vs indicate airspeed) is higher. At sea level a turbo doesn’t generally provide a significant advantage over the normally aspirated engine. The advantage is at those higher altitudes. Chris
December 28, 20214 yr For me the Turbo was better option. As I was not going to get both of them, the Turbo gave me option for both worlds (low and slow when I need that with an option to go faster, higher and longer). Your preferences might be different.
December 28, 20214 yr I have both, both the Arrow and the Turbo Arrow, as they have already mentioned here, if you like to fly low between the mountains, the Turbo Arrow gives you that power point to save mountains when you go very right, I love both, of echo I was only flying Turbo Arrow before the Kodiak appeared on the scene, now I'm alternating with both, The Arrows have something that I personally love, and that is that they save the state of the aircraft between flights, so if you damage the aircraft it is saved, it is not repaired or everything is restored, the fuel stays with the amount you left in the previous flight and it is not set to 50% again when you start a flight but remains as you left before, Now I really enjoy the Kodiak and the Turbo Arrow IV i7 11800, RTX 3070, 32Gb RAM, 2Tb
