I tried several ways to improve PG (including pre-cacheing) but little did they help. Two points are worth noting, though: - Quality of photogrammtey varies remarkably. London is certainly among the worst while Tokyo looks pretty good. As @Rockcliffe notes, quality of the raw data varies. - Try various Zoom settings. I found quality (and performance) of PG depends on Zoom settings. Why you can't expect miracles, zooming in too far can ruin any photogrammetry. Kind regards, Michael As Michael and @Rockliffehave both stated the quality of PG varies with location. Interestingly, I had a thread going a while ago "Post Apocalyptic Buildings". and Michael said he had never seen London PG look so good. See my image below. There were a couple of buildings on the right that looked like old props from the movie "Towering Inferno" but this was on on 5Mbps! Alas, it was short lived. I have better internet speeds now but have not been able to replicate it so I am guessing it may, as some have said, be more to do with the servers dishing this stuff up and just how busy they are at any given time. I mean, with my poor internet speed, seeing New York a burnt out melted mess was my expectation. But when I saw this in London and with Michael who I think has a pretty lighting speed internet suggesting he had never seen it so good, it changed my view that the internet speed is entirely the issue. I repeat, as momentary as that was, it was 5mbps. Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!
