January 17, 20224 yr How to I hide some of defaults aircraft that I would never be using but not deleting more moving it somehwhere else because I heard that some add-ons still refer to these models. I tried the Panel.Off method offered in this forum but it is still there in the aircraft selection screen
January 17, 20224 yr Administrators Create a Hangar Folder inside of your FSX Main folder. Move the aircraft folders there. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
January 21, 20224 yr If this is like FS9, there is a flag you can set in each airfile so that it's not recognized as an user aircraft, and thus, it won't appear in the aircraft list. You won't move anything. This is the utility I used back in FS9: https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm="BBQ+Hide+AI"&CatID=root&Go=Search It's actually the same trick you use for hiding all your AI from the selection screen. Almost no one does so for P3D, since AIG aircraft come already with that flag set. January 26, 20224 yr Another method (the one I use) is to simply rename the panel.cfg file of the aircraft you wish to hide to "panel.null". They will no longer appear. Simply change the name back to "panel.cfg" when you want them to appear. But probably like the OP, I have my own "fleet" of aircraft and pretty much every default aircraft is hidden bar the ultralight (which I keep for surveying new scenery and as the default flight).
