January 25, 20224 yr One thing that is very much better with the Twiotter than the Kodiak, is frame rate. On my system even with the standby instrument breaker off (and that makes a big difference 10fps or so) on the Kodiak the Twiotter is at least 10 fps better on my system. I think Aerosoft did a great job optimizing frame rate, maybe because of Xbox compatibility. Whatever it is I think both cockpit and exterior views with the Twiotter is great. The only part not so good is the prop animations but if this helps frame rate, maybe that does not matter so much, I don't spend my flights watching my props. I think both Kodiak and Twinn Otter are great models and look forward to both getting improvements in the coming months. Different developers and different emphases maybe but both are very enjoyable to me and I call both quality models.
