FBW Loading Passengers?

Featured Replies

Unless I am wrong (Which I could be) the way you loaded passengers into the FBW A320 was in the FMC, the AOC menu, then W/B submenu; is that correct? Since the last update, when I go that route I just get some sort of fuel loading page. Has something changed? If so, how do you know add passengers / load?

Thanks,

Dave

Pax and cargo loaded by MCDU W&B page. Fuel is loaded by the flypad on the left side.  This is with the development version, not sure about stable.

Thanks, that is what I had been doing. But now when I go to the W&B page, I don't see a passenger entry, it is an entry for fuel weights.

SOLVED- Looks like there is now a second page on the W/B page now; first one is fuel, second is load.

I've noticed that if you go for a quick flight in the FBW A320 starting on the runway, the aircraft is ready to go except it loads without passengers and limited fuel. If you open the flypad and load more fuel, then go to the MCDU the total weight does not reflect the added fuel. If you then load passengers it still doesn't update the total load in the Performance page. But I think the loads are present because when I set the V speeds for take off they are higher than if the extra fuel or passengers were not present.

It would be nice if you could spawn the FBW A320 for a quick/casual flight for practise without all the palava of loading things up from cold and dark.
