Is it normal for P2A to use so much RAM (2.4GB) without being even connected to the flight sim or doing anything?

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to stop using the program until something is done to correct this. I have 16Gb of RAM and can't waste 2.4Gb with an ATC program, even if I like very much. MSFS alone sometimes uses all my 16GB.

I can't get more RAM because I would need a complete new PC for that. So it's goodbye for now.
