February 10, 20224 yr Can anyone else confirm that the panels in the Cessna Longitude are unusably dark after installing the SU8 beta? The panels in all other aircraft that I tested seem fine. If there is a way to correct this problem, someone please please tell me. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the beta thus far. But the Longitude is my go-to aircraft, and I can hardly read anything on the screen. It's there. The panels aren't missing nor dysfunctional. But their brightness has been reduced by about 80%. The rest of the Longitude cockpit looks perfect. Is anyone else suffering this issue? Thanks! February 10, 20224 yr Have you looked for the glass panel brightness controls? Pretty sure the Longitude has them -B Edited February 10, 20224 yr by btacon
February 10, 20224 yr Worked fine for me, I did not see any difference, all three glass panels have individual brightness controls, I used Dakfy's Mod and WT-3000 Mod. February 10, 20224 yr Author I'm just using the default panels, and the brightness control doesn't work. I can increase the brightness of the text displayed -- such as AP, ALT, VS, etc., in other words the lighted text of the buttons -- but not the panels. Somebody help me or tell me you're having the same problem. This problem doesn't affect any other aircraft, even those using the same G3000 avionics. February 10, 20224 yr I am sure you will get some response over a the beta forum where you posted, too. Unable myself since not at the pc anymore. Do you use any mods for the longitude then you obviously should temporarily deactivate them https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/longitude-cockpit-panels-unusably-dark-after-su8-beta/497362 Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
