AIGTC unrealistic traffic variety?

I don't understand why people are not using PSXT and RealTraffic with AIG.  Every aircraft will follow its live routing and park in the right places.

Is there a benefit to using TC?

Can you point me in the right direction on a tutorial for getting all of these working together?  I have AIG running well but the other two I can't figure out how to get it to work.

AIG - Install and maintain as you normally would.

RealTraffic - Downloads ADSB traffic.
PSXT - injects traffic from RealTraffic into MSFS. It also learns where traffic parks so when you next go to that airport, traffic will be at the correct gates.

Load MSFS, start PSXT then Real traffic and see real world traffic in the sim (AIG TC not required).  Feel free to PM me for additional help.

With AIG installed, you have done the hard part.  RealTraffic downloads real traffic from the internet.  On the main screen make sure the 'simulator in use' dropdown is set to 'PSXT (P3D/FSX/MSFS)'.  PSXT takes the traffic from RealTraffic and injects it into MSFS.  There is a Parameters.xml file (my location is  C:\Users\rayke\AppData\Roaming\PSXT_MSFS).  A couple of edits are required in this file so PSXT can find your addon airports and the AIG traffic files.  Mine looks like this...

<parameter name="STOCK_AIRPORTS_FOLDER" value="stock_airports" />
    <parameter name="ADDON_AIRPORTS_FOLDER" value="addon_airports" />
    <parameter name="afolder0" value="I:\FS2020 Apps\MSFS_Addons_Linker_v12_gR0qJ\Linker_Community\Airports" />
    <parameter name="SPECIALS" value="" />
    <parameter name="lfolder0" value="I:\MSFS2020\Community\aig-aitraffic-oci-beta\SimObjects\Airplanes" />

the 'afolder0' entry tells PSXT where all my addon airports are located.  the 'ifolder0' entry tells PSXT where my AIG data is.  You will need to edit these entries in your parameters.xml file to match your file locations.

On the main PSXT screen I have unticked both entries next to 'Automatic scan' because this feature didn't work for me and this is why I edited the parameters.xml file to tell PSXT where to find addon airports and AIG data.  Please feel free to PM me if you need further help.

Once set up all you need to do is start MSFS.  When running start PSXT then RealTraffic.
