The Kitfox works, but then I'm not sure how accurate its STOL abilities are as it lifts off the ground almost by just looking at the joystick! I actually discoverd that strip within the first week off MSFS's launch - easy to get into with a slow plane, very hard to leave!😁

Is the Kitfox any good? I know it was released with a few issues.

Looks like a challenge!!

Has anyone tried landing at C53 - Lower Loon Creek (USA)?? I managed to get in and out of there in the Kodiak but man, was it close. On the first attempt, I had to overfly the runway because the winds weren't favorable. This included flying in a tight tight valley to get turned around to make an attempt from the other direction. SUPER hard, but very rewarding. Another bonus is that its one of the only small handcrafted airports in the NA World Update.

That sounds interesting. I’m off to bed now, but will have a peep tomorrow.

Only just got round to trying it. As I say, it takes off possibly (more like probably) too easily but it handles well and the AP seems to work fine so far.

It seems to be a heliport with a short dirt strip of a runway, so those reports about it not existing appear to have been incorrect.

Maadi Military Hospital Heliport Since virtually all the helicopters the Egyptian Air Force could use for Medevac are wheeled, it makes sense to have the runway.

It's actually located on the banks of the Nile, not slightly inland as the sim shows. And no runway markings. Massive cross though!

Correction, that's a separate helipad.

Here's the correct one

Well done that man 😃. I’ll have to give that combo a whirl. Absolutely no chance in the JF PA Turbo IV 😯

The PA28 Turbo Arrow IV ground roll is over 1100 feet.

The PA28 Warrior II is a bit better at 925 feet but still no go.

An older  Hershey Bar PA28 Cherokee 140 might get away with it. The take-off ground roll on those things is down around 700 feet, but I do not think we have any in game.

The AH Cessna140 should be fine. So should the Cessna 152.

I quite fancy giving the Cessna 152 a crack. That should be a close thing.

The Iris Jabiru 160/170s should also do it with room to spare.

As would the PC6 .

Not the Kodiak though.
