Mail notifications not working anymore

Recommended Posts

I stopped getting AVSIM Mail notifications suddenly on Friday (March 4th). I took several actions but no success so far:

1. Checked SPAM folder - nothing. Plus, <noreply@avsim.com> has always been in my Outlook address book.

2. I tried to change mail from ...@t-online.de to ...@gmx.net. Didn't get the reply link mail thus I was under danger to lose access to my account at all. No reply link mail nor in the Outlook spam folder or on the server spam folder (logged in and checked)

3. I mailed to AVSIM "Contact Us" twice. No result (Not complaining, just stating, it was over the week end).

4. I changed mail once more to ...@michael-basler.net which is a mail via my personal webspace. This time I got a reply link mail and could reactivate login into my account at least.

5. Even being logged into my account using the new mail, I still don't get any Mail notifications. I get Browser notifications (after activating them) which I find inconvenient, though.

Did anyone experience this before? May I kindly ask any of the admins to look into my account if there is something wrong at this end?

Thank you very much for any help, Michael

It's not only you, I've set e-mail notifications for whenever I get quoted or paged, and they have not worked at least since last Friday (last e-mail I got was on 26th February). I can confirm my notifications/e-mail settings have not changed, and that the in-forum notifications are still working properly.

The site has been experiencing minor issues since last week!  The Tech has been working on them as they appear.  The email issue is probably one of them.

Thank you very much guys, that's helpful to prevent further measures and potentially raising new issues from my side.

Kind regards, Michael

I am still not getting any mail notifications. I re-checekd the local (Outlook) Spam folder as well as the Server (Strato) Spam folder. I am lost what else can I do to regain Mail noticifications which had been working for many, many years. The mail address as such is working as I checked by sending mails back and forth from/to another mail address.

Maybe a kind Admin can take a look if there is something misconfigured in my account or give me a hint what to do.

I am pretty sure now I am the only one or part of a small minority otherwise there would have been an outcry on AVSIM.

Thank you and kind regards, Michael
