Sometimes simmers from way back are so used to constant tweaking and fiddling they start to get nervous when things just work! Quite frankly, despite its relative newness MSFS is profoundly stable considering all it is doing. I was stunned this morning taxiiing for takeoff at Fly Tampa's KLAX at pre-dawn--it was just so breathtakingly compelling and exceedingly complex I don't know how it didn't choke beyond belief. There was a plethora of incoming and outgoing RealTime Online planes and I had to 'line up and wait' as 3rd plane in line for departure on 07L behind another Alaska and a Jet Blue. I'm staying tuned to XP12, but my sense is by the time it releases MSFS will have ironed out many of its current shortcomings.
