Optica Speeds

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what the rotate speed, landing speed and stall speeds are for the Optica.  I must be coming in too fast because I can't get it to slow down once I'm down.

Not sure about the landing speeds but I do know she’s got big flaps and lots of them. Are you fully using those?

Stall speed is 58 KIA, rotation 59KIA, landing greater than 58KIA. (Reference Optica.co.uk  * , Wikipedia and Orbx manual).

Edit: And check your Centre of Gravity if you still have issues.

*Warning: you might get a trojan warning at Optica.co.uk. Malwarebytes flagged it).

Thanks for the response.  Didn't stall so I must have been going over 58.  Will check my brake settings.  Have trouble with my brakes and steering with foot peddles.  My feet are too far from my brain and they don't always get the message. 🙂
