Sun 'n Fun Scenery

Featured Replies

Disregard if I missed this but is there any scenery for Florida's Sun 'n Fun expo?  We have Oshkosh scenery so just wondering do we have the same for this major event.

There is an airport mod for MSFS that adds the various landing target dots for use during the intense arrivals, if you are aware of what that is about (land long or land short due to compressed incoming traffic). I have not seen any MSFS airport mods that add displays and festivity consistent with this great annual event.

I recall one such addon for FSX for Oshkosh and I too sorely wish someone would do similar airport addons for MSFS for both Oshkosh and Lakeland!

I can’t speak for Sun ‘n Fun, but Oshkosh had a great (if slightly unoptimized) scenery last year from PilotEdge for the live fly-in event (using real Oshkosh controllers). If you have the time and inclination this year I can’t recommend it enough.

I have that one and based on that effort last year I thought we'd see something for Lakeland.  A few European airshow events have been done in FS2020 but nothing for many of our airshows.
