Tried this in the hardware forum but got no replies. Hopefully, someoone here has the answer.

I would like to use my laptop as a second monitor for my PC. Can this be done if the laptop is Windows 11 and the PC is Windows 10?

Laptops usually don’t have a Video Input port. I do not think this will work for you.

Laptops have video Otput and do not have Input. So, it seems not possible 😞

I remember playing around with a piece of software not long after the release of MSFS that did what you want to a pad but cannot remember the name. It was labeled as a "desktop extender" IIRC. Might try searching for that.

I use an app called "Spacedesk" on two android tablets to make extra screens. Works really well. Not sure if it will work for you, but here's a link:

Good luck!

You are correct that you can't wire your pc to the laptop. However, it is very simple using two windows 10 machines. It is done using Miracast, which is built into Win10 and later. The queston is do the PC and Laptop have to berunning the same OS?
