Since the second before last checklist, the descent checklist, after the FO states, "Descent checklist" and I respond "Complete", then the checklist always repeats itself and starts all over again each time. I have to say "cancel checklist" for it to stop. In which the checklist does not roll over to the next flows, which is the next items on approach such as localizer alive, GS above, 500 above minimums, 100 above minimums etc.

this is exactly what I do, and call pout. and each and every time I say "complete" then the FO starts all over again with the descent check from the top.

I'm wondering if your mic is picking up the FO saying "Descent Checklist Complete", and interpreting that as you yourself saying "Descent Checklist".

The speech system is hearing "Descent Check" again, probably when the FO says "Descent Check complete".

Are you using a headset?

Can you keep your speakers a bit further from your mic.

I am using an alienware 511 headset......

Also, wanted to pass along, suddenly over the past several flights the FO randomly says APU OFF, APU coming on, and says it repeatedly, then stops, same with COWELS, coming on, going off, one time it was repeated like 10 times. Just out of the blue this occurs.

I launched the fs2crew this morning to start a flight and I hear coming from my headset "cowls on", "cowls off" repeating over and over.....

What does your voice log say?  You can see what was detected.

Please ensure your run the voice training.

I still think your mic is picking up a lot of ambient sound and acting on what it's hearing.

Please try again, but run the voice training again and try lowing any ambient sound, especially if you're using open mic mode.

Also I would try using Push to Talk mode.
