updates v2.5.29

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the dumb question.  When you get a update and you hit update in configuration panel. Where should it be saved?   am running Win 10. There is a Garmin directory in the C: drive in the Program data and Program Files (86). I am running P3D on my D: Drive,. I don't see anyplace in P3D directory.

Sorry

Dick

Doesn't matter where you save it to.  The only priority is remembering where you saved it to.😁 Once downloaded, go to that location and install the update.  After the update is installed, I have a location on one of my storage drives where I save the update exe file.  I usually keep the two previous updates... although I've never had to revert to one of them.  Reality XP updates work pretty with a minimum of hassles (I just wish Garmin could learn some things from Jean Luc!  Garmin updates are like a... journey.🤬😁).

Thank you for the quick assistance @lownslo !

I don't find there is any issue with Garmin's updates though, except when this requires us to work on a compatibility update of course 😉
