B737 installing Liveries ?

Featured Replies

I have the 737, I have the PMDG Operations Centre, and I have a Qantas livery with a ptp extension.

How do I install the livery into the 737 ?

I usually just move the ptp file out of the compressed folder in the downloads folder. Start the PMDG operations centre. Select Airctaft and liveries from the drop down list, then Livery utilities, and install from ptp file bottom left.

Hi Car147

I have understood most of your post, except I am confused about where and how the Operations Centre sees the ptp file.

Do you have to copy the ptp file...Where ??

I have a blue box with says "Install from ptp file" but nothing happens when I click on it.

Extract the livery ptp file to your downloads folder.

Open PMDG OC and search for the file in the downloads folder. Choose the file and the livery gets extracted to the PMDG folder in the Community folder.

BTW, the Qantas livery has an issue. It shows up as extracted in the PMDG livery folder, but not in the OC.
